Life & Travel

Adventure that shapes how I think.

Travel and service aren’t separate from my science. They sharpen my systems thinking, build empathy, and keep me grounded in what impact is really for: people and the world we share.

What I’m learning

Perspective, stories, and the courage to explore

I care about learning people’s stories, seeing beyond stereotypes, and choosing growth over fear.

Service, conservation, and the small moments that last a lifetime.

The trip is easy to describe by the milestones—advanced scuba certification, rock climbing, and learning Thai culture. But what stayed with me were the small moments: removing fishing nets from coral reefs, planting mangrove trees in a rainstorm, and laughing with kids who were fully present.

Moments like those are what last a lifetime. It is not the temporary sickness or the missed flights that matter in the end; it is the pure happiness that only selflessness can offer.
