Barcelona, Spain

Barcelona was a whirlwind of color, history, and unforgettable experiences. We started each day in Plaça de Catalunya, the bustling heart of the city, and explored iconic spots like Park Güell, the Gothic Quarter, and Montjuïc , all made easy with Barcelona’s amazing public transport, which we quickly mastered and genuinely enjoyed using as we practiced our Spanish along the way. From running through bubbles and dancing to live music in Parc de la Ciutadella to relaxing at the beach, we found the perfect balance of adventure and downtime. A day trip to Montserrat gave us time to soak in the mountain views, and seeing La Sagrada Familia in the golden afternoon light was breathtaking , especially as we learned about the history and intricate design behind the towering basilica. One of the most memorable nights was watching a passionate flamenco show, which brought the rhythm and energy of Spain to life. We even ventured beyond the city to explore Andorra and France on a three-country-in-one-day tour, making this trip a true celebration of culture and discovery.
