JULY 12, 2017 - Living the Dream

Living The Dream

So yeah, now my trip is complete, I am officially returning home.We had two travel days, including 4 airports, 3 flights, 1 missed flights, and our longest layover being 7 hours in Tahiti.Over the 7 hours, we explored around the city, the city is a slightly better form of India. It was completely underdeveloped. We went to explore this black sand beach called Point Venus, then went to this 5-star hotel to eat and relax or the remaining hours.Anyway, the point is I'm coming home with have learned so much, and gained so much wisdom.Travel gives me a perception of how fortunate I am, and thankful I am for all the blessings in my life. Even the rougher places I have traveled, like India, make me appreciate things like a clean bathroom and purified water. All these places teach me how to look at everything with an optimistic point of view, for I've seen people with so little, who enjoy the smallest things in life.I now will use my wisdom I've gained to try and teach others. It's true what they say you never stop learning, I’ve learned more traveling than I can ever be taught from a textbook. I've learned the beauty of difference, of change.I’ve truly learned” not to judge a book by its cover”I now know the bliss that comes from being thankful and counting my blessings.I’ve learned to love to learn, to understand different cultures and traditions, to appreciate knowledge and education. I understand the great role model the US is for the rest the world, and most importantly, I've learned to face my fears and to leave my comfort zone. This is Riley Jaye signing out, concluding Around the World in 42 Days:(I hope that everyone, even if they can’t travel as intensely as myself, takes away 3 things from my experiences 1-Always be grateful 2-Never stop learning and 3- explore outside your comfort zone; therefore, don’t let fear limit you. Bye for Now,

                                    Riley Jaye
