Ireland
My mom and I took an unforgettable road trip across Ireland, starting in Dublin and heading south to Waterford, where we toured the House of Waterford Crystal and watched master craftsmen at work in the crystal museum. From there, we made our way to Killarney to explore the breathtaking Ring of Kerry, taking in dramatic coastal views and charming countryside. One of the highlights was visiting Dingle, where we hiked to Dunquin Pier, a winding, cliffside path with panoramic views of the Islands and crashing waves below. We continued our adventure north along the coast to the Cliffs of Moher, a designated UNESCO Global Geopark, where we walked along the edge of towering sea cliffs and learned about the geology, wildlife, and conservation efforts that make the area so special. We wrapped up the trip in Galway, though not as planned, after our car broke down, and we caught a train back to Dublin. From scenic drives and hikes to stunning beaches and unforgettable landmarks, it was a trip filled with beauty, adventure, and memories we’ll cherish forever.
