Switzerland

Switzerland was an incredible mix of professional growth and outdoor adventure. I had the opportunity to meet with executives, directors, and scientists at the World Health Organization in Geneva, as well as at Johnson & Johnson, Novartis, Roche, and Treeline Biosciences in Basel, where I toured their campuses and learned more about careers in biotech and pharma. Outside of these site visits, I fully embraced the Swiss landscape, going bridge jumping and getting swept downstream by the river’s current, riding a toboggan down a mountain, and hiking through the scenic trails of Bern. In Geneva, I stayed active with morning runs and swims in Lake Geneva, and in Montreux, I enjoyed peaceful nature walks along the lake. One of my favorite spontaneous adventures was playing a “train game,” hopping on random trains to explore nearby towns like Montreux and Lausanne. I ended my trip with time in Zurich, where I explored the city with friends and soaked in the charm of Swiss culture and city life.
